Jai Ho

The documentary traces the professional and personal life of music maestro A.R. Rahman, considered one of the world’s most influential people by Time magazine. It explores the evolution of his style of music – a fusion of Eastern sensibilities and Western technology. Rahman composed the scores for over 120 films and received numerous awards for his work, among which a Golden Globe and two Academy Awards for 2008′s Slumdog Millionaire.

UMESH AGGARWAL has been producing and directing television shows, documentary films for more than 20 years.

His Show Kiran on DD1 won Indian Television Academy award in 2002 and 2005. It was judged as the best short duration show across channels in India.

Kiran also won Indian tally award in 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011 and 2012 as the best public service programme across channels in India.
