The successful businesswoman Naina (Taapsee Pannu) is charged with the murder of her lover. She claims to be innocent, despite evidence and testimony are to the contrary. For this reason, she hires the high-end lawyer Badal (Amitabh Bachchan), who never lost a case in his career. Once Naina shares the details of her story, thanks to Badal’s striking observation capacity and wit, a lot of horrifying facts emerge. The thriller, built on unexpected twists, is the official remake of the Spanish movie Contratiempo (2017).
