The fi lm begins with the murder of a young model, Jessica, and is based on a true story that took place in Delhi in 2003. When twenty- -two year old Sabrina learns the fate of her older sister, she thinks that nothing worse could happen to her in her life. But when the murderer, the son of the infl uential politician Haryana, is found not guilty in court, Sabrina starts a long fi ght against corruption and abuse of political power. As she is about to give up her fi ght, the acclaimed journalist and activist Meera Gaity gets interested in the case. Inspired by the successful fi lm Rang De Basanti, she starts organizing mass demonstrations for a fair trial…
