A pleasant romantic comedy about Karthik and Viji and their troubles with love. One day Karthik makes the acquaintance of deaf-mute Archana. He falls in love with her and starts learning the sign language from her widowed friend Sheela . When Karthik proposes to Archana, she refuses his off er, afraid of a union between two completely diff erent worlds. Meanwhile, Viji and Sheela have fallen in love, and soon a wedding is planned. Karthik and Archana could be happy too, but will Archana be able to overcome her fears? Part of the movie is in the sign language.
