“I will grow up and join the Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) just like my father did,” says the 8-year-old son of a slain HM commander. “We simply want our father’s death avenged,” says a 12-year old girl in an orphanage in Srinagar. The documentary peeks into the lives of children from Kashmir and attempts to bring to the fore the reality beyond mainstream media reports and propaganda. It also presents the Kashmir situation from the viewpoint of journalists, NGOs and psychiatrists.
