The film follows Devdas and Paro and their tragic love story. Their parents do not agree with their love and unite Paro with someone else. Devdas doesn’t manage to oppose the decision and finds comfort in alcohol and the arms of courtesan Chandramukhi. The film is especially extraordinary for its visual aspect and its beautiful choreography.
